Today I beat Wash with stave!

Ok, no not really. But I really really really wanted to this morning.

So, since Wash is still only 7 months I've been doing a lot more walks than I normally do with Muffin. They still get the regular long walks, but I've been throwing in 10 minute ones every couple of hours so that Wash can go pee outside instead of on my couch.

Well, anyway, late last night (about an hour after a walk... in which he took a huge poop, I might add) Wash decided he needed to go poop again. He, however, didn't tell me this, and proceeded to go on INSIDE my snowboots. Yes, that's right. INSIDE MY BOOTS. Yeah, I know, that's quite a feat considering they're about as tall as he is. (btw, I am blaming the extra pooping on the training treats I used that day because Muffin didn't seem to like them either... so this is not the part that makes me want to beat Wash. I just don't get why he had to go inside my boots... couldn't he have scooted his butt over 2 inches to the trash? That's the same height as my boots and right next to it?)

So, I take Wash outside to continue going potty and I clean my boots up. As I said, it's late..... and I was really tired. So I put Wash in his crate and turned in. Well at around 5am Wash is crying, so I get up to let him out. I had to get up early to make my computer appointment, so instead of putting Wash back in the crate I let him stay out(ok, now we're getting close to the reason I want to beat him with a stave). Being that it is now 5:20am ,which is still such an ungodly hour, I just sort of "fell" on my bed for a second.... I hear the dogs barking at each and chasing each other around the bedroom. I think how nice it is when you have two dogs because they can entertain themselves.

Then I smell this horrible horrible smell. I think, "oh god PLEASE don't tell me hr pooped in my boots again!" So I get up, and in so doing push a blanket over and hear, "squisssshhhhhh." My head pretty much drops.... and I'm like "really? IN my bed? REALLY?"

no, no, no.... Wash didn't poop in the bed, don't worry. Instead he pulled the paper towel I used to clean up his poop earlier out of the trash can.... dragged it across my carpet, and into my bed. Yes, I really wanted to beat Wash with a stave this morning.

Luckily for him he's cute.

On a more positive note, he's picking up commands pretty easily. We start privates soon and I can't wait. I think me and him are going to have a blast! :-)
